Flash Fiction 101

Flash Fiction 101

Picture
The Worcester Repertory Company and Tortive Theatre are thrilled to be able to host the new creative writing competition, Flash Fiction 101. We are now accepting entries for the first month of our competition, and we are looking for stories of any genre or theme. The only catch? All stories must be exactly 101 words in length. No more; no less. Can you rise to the challenge?

Key Information

  • Each month our judges will decide on a short list and a winner.
  • The winner will have their story published online, along with their biography and links to any other work.
  • The winning entry of each month will be included in the shortlist  for the annual competition in June 2021.
  • The winning entry of each month will be professionally recorded and voiced, and broadcast as part of the digital series at the Worcester Fringe 2021.
  • Entries that are shortlisted will be recognised and published online.
  • Entry in June 2020 is free to all participants. Subsequent months may incur a small administration cost, which will be no more than £1.50 per entry.
